Pre Ride Advice

The course is along NCN route 14 heading from the school along Ocean road and joining the cycleway to Dalton Park and our Halfway point at the Dancing Betty Pub .

If you havent ridden a bike for a while build up to the 26.2 mile distance before the day.

The path is rugged so choose wisely the type of bike , We would suggest that its unsuitable for narrow tyres.

We suggest that you carry at least 1 new inner tube with you and the tools necessary to change if you have a puncture.

Sustrans Cycle hub in Church St Hartlepool  have bike free check sessions too

We will have snacks available however it is a long way so please make sure you have enough water and snacks if required.
